Visons of Independence Inc.
Mission
Visions of Independence Inc. is a
not-for-profit charitable organization that provides
housing and supports to persons with intellectual
disabilities. The agency is committed to ensuring that
each of these people that we serve has all the rights
and opportunities to community living. We have a
commitment to ensure each individual is assisted to live
as independence a lifestyle as possible. We strive to
accomplish this by providing services, which are
appropriate, and specific to each individual we support.
Purpose
The volunteer Board of Directors of
Visions of Independence Inc. has approved the following
statement of Purpose:
Visions of Independence
Incorporated has a commitment to ensuring that
individuals with developmental disabilitys served by the agency
have all the right and opportunities to community
living. We strive to assist each individual to live as
independent a lifestyle as possible. Visions of
Independence Inc. will accomplish this by providing
appropriate individualized supports to each individual
served.
Goals
Goals of the service and
implications: A cooperative approach to assist an adult
with a developmental disability to lead a rewarding life in a
community residential setting.
